EAT MEMPHIS / THE BEST BBQ IN MEMPHIS! AND THE WINNER IS..

Over on Facebook is a group called I Love Memphis Food. It seems every week, someone from out of town is coming to visit Memphis and they ask where the best BBQ is.. no doubt, countless people weigh in and it seems that Central gets most of the love and the Rendezvous doesn't. Some go so far as to call the Rendezvous a tourists trap. It isn't. So, after much consideration, I've come to the conclusion that there isn't a best BBQ place in Memphis. I think it comes down to preference. My favorite place for BBQ is Marlowe's on Elvis Presley. My favorite sandwich is at TOPS. Sometimes I like the Rendezvous, The BBQ Shop and Blues City for ribs. Central? Nachos and wings-- and holy ****- we haven't even gotten into the wings discussion yet. But when I am craving BBQ, you'll find me at one of those places. Better? No. Preference? Yes.

it took a while, but thankfully its gone. On the downside, its going to happen again and Memphis will not be prepared.

Looks like the cold ass weather is leaving tomorrow, which is a relief. I like cold weather and this doesn't bother me- but the aging infrastructure of Memphis has been compromised again. What will it take for elected officials to do something about it?

PARANORMAL MEMPHIS / Twilight Tour at Woodruff Fontaine House

Looks like the next tour is scheduled for February 16, 2024. It's a Friday night, so I am sure it will be fun.
